Exercise Calories

Oh No! I ate too much!

Occasionally we all overeat. After our food is digested or even the next day we may want to do a little exercise to get rid of those unwanted calories. Luckily, when we consume extra calories, our bodies are designed to burn more calories than usual.

Taller, heavier people also burn more calories, in the same activity, simply because they have more weight to move. The harder you work at anything, the more calories you will burn. Individuals will burn calories at different rates, but, if you are working, you are burning.
