It is
time to take a look at the rules of the Dieting Game. We know
we have got to watch our caloric intake. We know we need to be
more active. There are many different ways to accomplish these
two things and the best part of it is, that we get to pick the
way we lose weight. We each get to make the rules of our game.
All we have to do, to successfully lose weight, is to pick the
methods that we can stick to.
Imagine
that; a game where you get to pick the rules. Talk about a beautiful
thing! Have

decided on the methods you will use to lose weight? Did you pick
the rules you want to follow? What's your plan? Have you picked
a food plan? Do you have a plan for being more active? Who is
going to keep you on track? To win at any game you have to plan
a strategy. Everyone knows how to win at tic tac toe, right? You've
got to start in the middle square, if you can. Everyone knows
the next steps to winning at tic tac toe, too. By playing, we
have developed our winning strategy.
Or take
chess. There are many well-formulated plans for winning at chess.
The more you know, the

you stay in the game. The person who knows the best moves, the
more game plans, is the one who wins. We have strategies for our
career, for winning a mate, for financial success. Why not have
a game plan for winning at weight loss?
Write
down your plan for weight loss. What rules are you willing to
follow? Do it now. Take action. You can't win the game unless
you make your moves. The first action is making the rules.
The
second part of the game is in the playing. Are you going to play
fair? Follow your rules? What will be

strategy for following your rules? Do you have a partner who will
help support and guide you? Will you make notes on your calendar,
reminding you what the rules are? Will you repair your bicycle,
so that it is ready to roll when you are? Can you decide on your
menu for the week and make a shopping list so you have what you
need to WIN?
